Changing my mind, changed my life.


To say that losing weight is difficult is an understatement; especially in this dollar menu society that we live in. The weight loss process, even with all the rewards, can be a roller-coaster ride of emotions that will require you to take a self-inventory.


In 2007,  I weighed in at 500 pounds; 275 pounds more than my current weight of 225. After my father’s untimely death in 2005 due to cancer, my battle with obesity skyrocketed to another level. I gained over 200 pounds in a matter of months. Unfit and unhappy with my life, I decided to make a change. I made a commitment to myself to fight my depression and  food addiction. This was the only way to save my life from a slow suicide. 

To reach any fitness goal,  your biggest battle will never be on the gym floor or with a trainer, it is in YOUR MIND. Ten years later and 275 pounds lighter, I have reached and maintained my milestone weight of 225 pounds. My weight loss journey has not been easy and I still battle with my food addiction on a daily basis, even as fitness specialist. Knowing how far I have come on this journey serves as constant motivation for me to keep striving for greatness and to  inspire others to do the same.

As a fitness coach, I desire to use my skills and story to help others who struggle with the same issues of self-image and obesity. It has always been a deep-seeded belief of mine, that if you have been blessed with a platform it is your responsibility to give a voice to those who may not have one; and since I have been inspired by the world, it's now time to let the world be inspired by me.

Whether you are preparing for a wedding, 10 year class reunion, prefer working out in a group, or in need of nutritional guidance I am here to help you get started. My goal is to provide the most personable experience, for every client, regardless of the workout. My unique training approach and attention to detail has laid the foundation for my training style and success. I strive for 100% client participation and satisfaction in helping you to achieve your fitness goals.


The purpose of this assessment is to take an appraisal of your CURRENT health and fitness status to help determine your fitness level. Using a combination of your assessment results, as well as going over your fitness goals and nutrition, your fitness coach will then determine the best possible fitness routine(s) for you.


The more may be the merrier with our six to eight week group training program. Each group training class is limited to 3 to 5 people with custom workouts designed and led by a personal trainer. Group training participants receive the same benefits as our one-on-one personal training clients, with an added advantage of shared trainer time and motivational support from other group members.


Everyone responds uniquely to exercise training and has different fitness needs and goals. Our private one-on-one program sessions are carefully designed to take in your ability level, understanding of exercising fundamentals and realistic level of commitment.


In contrast to personal training where the goal is to improve overall fitness and possibly personal appearance, the goal of athletic performance training is to enhance your performance in competition to make you more successful in your chosen sport. Our training program takes into account the sport and the position you play along with characteristics such as your age, gender, fitness level, and medical history. Using sound scientific principles and proven training techniques, we create customized and effective workout plans to increase our athletic client’s speed, strength and stamina.


Our semiprivate training sessions are designed to improve motivation, accountability, fitness results, and overall health for people of all experience levels. Each session accommodates (at least) two  attendees and features fun, safe, and effective movements to help people achieve their fitness goals.


The purpose of these tours is to educate our clients on how to read and compare food labels, prepare a healthy shopping list and accurately interpret health claims so that every client can shop with confidence knowing that they are choosing the best foods to support their health-related goals. Each attendee will receive a folder that includes a grocery shopping guide, shopping list and other resources that will serves as an aid to their nutritional goals.

Vinson and I started working out by default in December of 2012, because my personal trainer took a position at another location. We shared a connection from the start and Vince has been able to push me to accomplish things I never knew my body could do. I don’t feel like money is the reason Vinson has this gift of transformation but he genuinely wants you to be the best version of yourself. I totaled my car in 2014 and took a break from my fitness. If you have ever thought about it and were too scared to start, do it now!  Vinson is the perfect person to make you feel more comfortable.  When I started, I didn't even know how to use the "quick start" feature on a tread mill but Vinson took his time with me and made sure I was comfortable with our workout routines.  Now, I feel comfortable (and actually look forward to) walking into the gym and using a variety of machines and weights. Vinson doesn't have to hold my hand anymore but he's always close by in case I need him.

Also, I've always hated working out with skinny people or those who were always in great shape.  I find it hard to take advice from someone who learned fitness from a book.  You know, a football coach isn't great because he reads a lot about football.  A football coach is great because he played for a winning team or maybe even because he played for a losing team.  And, he's great because he lives for football.  Vinson is the winning-est fitness coach there is because he's lived through obesity and he made the change to get into shape.   I'd rather take advice from someone who's winning his war even though he's lost a few battles along the way.  I'd rather take advice from someone that has a clear passion about fitness because he's witnessed how it can change a life.  I'd rather take advice from someone like Vinson. Vinson has gone through the struggle and won.  He's learned it AND earned it, he's been there AND done that, he's believed it AND achieved it, and he's fought the battle AND is still winning it!

At the beginning of 2017, I started down 90 pounds from my weight of 503 and I am currently 363 closing in on a 150-pound weight loss by the end of the year.  My weight loss journey started by completing the fitness assessment with Vinson. In sitting down with Vinson, realizing that we started around the same weight, made his weight loss story and the incredible hurdles he overcame an inspiration and made me believe my target weight goal to be attainable.


The biggest challenge I've overcome was the mental aspect. . It is an everyday fight to try and make healthy choices at mealtime - it's really hard to eat a salad when you love steaks and burgers. However, once I got my mind right, the rest just fell into place. When the pounds begin to drop off, I never looked back.

My new lifestyle of health and fitness has given me the ability to play with my daughter and to live a longer life so that I have more time to spend with her. The advice I would give to people interested in working with Vinson is: if it is possible you should go for it. No matter how many trainers I met with or spoke to only Vinson actually had the life experience. To me, there is no schooling or training that can replace life experience. Not ony will Vinson help you lose weight but he can provide the proper resources for you to succeed and maintain your weightloss goals. He has been a huge inspiration for me and is one of the reasons I continue my journey today.
